A year of Akaza fight screenshots circulating on X, of friends who saw the film in theaters giving you that knowing look, wondering when you could finally watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle without selling a kidney for a late showing. The answer dropped at Anime Expo in Los Angeles in early July, and the date is near: the film hits Crunchyroll on July 28, at 8 AM Pacific, 5 PM in Paris, everywhere in the world except Japan."}},{"type":"heading","text":{"fr":"Pourquoi il a fallu attendre si longtemps","en":"Why the wait was so long"}},{"type":"paragraph","text":{"fr":"Si l'attente a été si longue, c'est justement à cause du triomphe du film. The wait was this long precisely because of the film's triumph. Released in Japan on July 18, 2025, it stayed in theaters for nine months and crossed 100 billion yen in revenue, a historic record we broke down right here a few weeks ago. Then it toured the world: more than 70 million dollars on its first US weekend in September 2025, unheard of for an anime, a massive opening in France on September 17, and in total more than 700 million dollars worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Japanese animated film ever. Streaming could not launch while Japanese theaters were still running it, and the Japanese home video release itself only lands in late July."}},{"type":"paragraph","text":{"fr":"Côté langues, Crunchyroll confirme l'audio japonais sous-titré et le doublage anglais dès le premier jour. On the language front, Crunchyroll confirms subtitled Japanese audio and the English dub from day one. The full dub list, including the French dub heard in theaters last September, has not been detailed by the platform yet. So check the film's page on day one if you plan to watch it dubbed. One more thing to know: the film has no break, it runs two hours and thirty-five minutes, and it picks up right where season 4 ended. If you have not rewatched the Hashira Training arc, plan a catch-up evening first."}},{"type":"link","url":"https://www.crunchyroll.com/","label":{"fr":"Crunchyroll, la plateforme où Infinity Castle sera disponible le 28 juillet","en":"Crunchyroll, where Infinity Castle will be available on July 28"},"icon":"external","cta":{"fr":"Aller sur Crunchyroll","en":"Go to Crunchyroll"}},{"type":"paragraph","text":{"fr":"Ce streaming va aussi remettre les compteurs à zéro pour la suite.
